Welcome to Akingate Consultancy.
These Terms of Service outline how we work with clients and visitors. By engaging our consultancy or using our website, you agree to these terms.
Akingate Consultancy (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides professional consultancy services focused on:
AI opportunity identification and strategic recommendations
Visual app prototype design concept creation (non-development)
We operate as a registered business in the United Kingdom.
We provide advisory, strategic analysis, and design consultancy only.
Our services include:
Discovery meetings to understand client goals and context
Analysis and presentation of findings or recommendations
Delivery of written reports and/or visual design prototypes
We do not provide software development, technical implementation, AI engineering, or system integration.
Any prototype delivered is for conceptual and design purposes only.
Each engagement begins with a discovery call, during which we outline:
The service scope
Expected deliverables
Timelines
Fees and payment terms
A written proposal or agreement will follow, confirming this before any work begins.
Our outputs typically include:
Written reports (e.g., opportunity findings or design summaries)
Presentation materials
Visual design prototypes (e.g., PDF or clickable design files)
Deliverables are based exclusively on the agreed scope and are intended for internal planning, validation, and decision-making. They are not intended for public release or resale.
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate and timely information relevant to the project
Respond to communication and approvals promptly
Use all consultancy outputs responsibly and for lawful purposes
Project timelines depend on timely client input.
Fees are discussed during the discovery call and confirmed in writing before commencing work.
Invoices are payable as stated in the proposal — typically upon commencement or at predefined milestones.
All fees are in GBP (£) and exclude any applicable taxes.
We treat all client information, discussions, and materials as strictly confidential.
Likewise, clients agree not to share Akingate Consultancy’s proprietary materials or intellectual property without written consent.
Upon full payment, clients receive a licence to use final deliverables (reports or prototypes) for their internal business purposes.
Akingate Consultancy retains ownership of all underlying intellectual property, design systems, and methodologies used to create these deliverables.
Deliverables may not be reproduced, resold, or distributed externally without our written consent.
Our consultancy provides strategic and design advice to support business decision-making. While we take care to ensure accuracy, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Akingate Consultancy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or materials.
Akingate Consultancy does not build or develop software, AI systems, or applications.
However, when clients wish to progress to technical implementation, we may introduce or refer them to independent third-party Technical Partners.
By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree that:
Any recommendation or introduction to a Technical Partner is provided solely as a convenience.
Technical Partners operate independently and are not employees, subcontractors, agents, or representatives of Akingate Consultancy.
We do not guarantee, oversee, or take responsibility for any work performed by third-party partners, including timelines, quality, outcomes, or costs.
Any engagement with a Technical Partner is formed directly and exclusively between you and that third party.
You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any agreement.
Akingate Consultancy shall not be liable for any loss, damages, delays, or issues arising from third-party work.
Discovery calls may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Project cancellations after work has begun may incur partial fees based on the amount of work completed.
All client data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR.
We do not share client data, except where required to deliver agreed-upon services or as permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
